This review was actually done by a doctor that was on duty for the few days I was in the hospital last September. We kept in touch on Facebook since that time and asked to read my book. I had one handy so he bought it for $20. He said he is an avid reader and likes stories of adventure that others experience. Well it was only about a week later he put one on Amazon. Here it is below. Thank you Marcel!

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this autobiographical account of the author's 17 years travelling around the world while experiencing adventure, successes and disappointments throughout that time. Reading about his many exploits, the main theme that resounded was that of the effect of having a positive and optimistic attitude. Each described experience could be viewed through a different lens. Was the author just "stubborn", with inevitable repeated setbacks - or was he "persistent" in turning a negative experience into a positive one, learning as he went along? Was he "impulsively" making bad decisions and suffering consequences - or was he "adventurous" and tackling any situation that came along with a desire for growth? The author seems to travel through so many countries and so many situations, many negative experiences and many positive ones. In the end, we get to ride along and enjoy the anecdotes, ride the ups and downs, see a young man develop into an older adult with confidence and experience. One ultimately realizes, that despite all the negative experiences, the author has also, at the same time, developed a tremendous amount of expertise in his chosen field. Without spoiling the ending (the end of the beginning), one can truly say, this man has lived!
